The Rotary Club of Gloucester NSW is conducting their annual event, the Gloucester Motorcycle Expo to be held at Gloucester on 30th April & 1st May 2016.

Now in it’s 8th year, and have in the past attracted approximately 1,500 riders to the event over the weekend.

Gloucester is a great stopping off point for motorcyclists going north up the Thunderbolts Way, south down the Bucketts Way or even on their way to Nabiac’s Motorcycle Museum. Being only 1 and a half hours north of Newcastle it is a good day ride destination for the casual riders as well.

Reports from suppliers, exhibitors and patrons who have previously attended the Expo, saying that it is a must attend event. We also have the support of the local Ulysses Club, Heaven VMX Club and the Motorcycle Museum who will have displays at the event.

Last year’s feature event the Gloucester TT Vintage Motocross race around a special track in the showground was washed out, however they will return this year for more exciting racing. There will also be a live band, food, drink, a bar and free camping. This year we will also be having a motorcycle only Swap Meet.

The aim of the weekend is to show our town’s support for motorcyclists, as well as raising funds which we intend to use to increase safety signage and amenities for motorcyclists in the area.

This will be a great weekend and we hope you can join us. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Yours on 2 wheels,

Peter Markey
